Actor Disha Patani was spotted for the first time since shots were fired outside her house in Uttar Pradesh\u2019s Bareilly. The incident was later connected to Disha\u2019s elder sister\u00a0Khushboo Patani\u2019s<\/a> remark on Aniruddhacharya Maharaj, which was wrongly connected to spiritual leader Premanand Ji Maharaj. For her latest appearance, the Radhe actor was clicked at an event in New York City.<\/p>\n

What was the firing incident outside Disha Patani\u2019s house?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Authorities said several rounds were fired; two rounds of aerial firing were reported at about 4:30 am outside Disha Patani\u2019s house in Bareilly earlier this week<\/a>. No one was injured in the incident. T<\/span>he Dhelana brothers, Virendra and Mahendra, have claimed responsibility for the attack. In a purported social media post, the two men issued a warning to the film industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI, Virendra Charan, Mahendra Saran (Delana), brothers, today the firing that happened at Khushboo Patani\/Disha Patani\u2019s (Bollywood actress) house (Villa No. 40, Civil Lines, Bareilly, UP), we got it done. She insulted our revered saints (Premanand Ji Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj). She tried to demean our Sanatan Dharma. The insult of our deities will not be tolerated. This was just a trailer. Next time, if she or anyone else shows disrespect towards our religion, then no one in their house will be left alive,” the message read.<\/span><\/p>\n

What led to the firing incident outside Disha Patani\u2019s house?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Former army officer Khushboo Patani recently criticised religious orator Aniruddhacharya Maharaj over his remarks on live-in relationships. However, many social media users mistakenly believed she was referring to Premanand Ji Maharaj, who had commented on youngsters having multiple relationships. Following a wave of trolling triggered by the confusion, Khushboo issued an official clarification, making it clear her remarks were directed only at Aniruddhacharya Maharaj. She also warned that she would pursue legal action if the online harassment continued.<\/span><\/p>\n

Disha Patani\u2019s father reacted to the firing<\/strong><\/p>\n

In an interaction with ANI, Jagdish Patani<\/a> defended his daughter Khushboo Patani, and stated that her remark was misrepresented. \u201c\u2026Khushboo (sister of actor Disha Patani) was misrepresented. Her name was dragged into the matter of Premanand Ji Maharaj. We are Sanatanis, and we respect the sadhus and saints. If someone is misrepresenting her statement, it is a conspiracy to demean us\u2026,” he said.<\/p>\n

Disha Patani is yet to react to the firing incident outside her Uttar Pradesh house.<\/p>\n
