Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in Bollywood. Fans swoon over him and wait for a chance to get a picture with him. However, overseas, tables turn when Ranbir Kapoor<\/a> spots a Hollywood star who has no idea of the Ramayana actor\u2019s popularity in India. Ranbir once made an appearance on Kapil Sharma\u2019s show and recalled how he ran after Quentin Tarantino and Natalie Portman for pictures.<\/p>\n

Ranbir recalled, \u201cI was running on a New York street, I needed to use the loo, when I saw Natalie Portman crossing me. She was on a call, and I was like, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s Natalie Portman!\u2019 I turned around and ran after her, saying \u2018One photo, one photo,\u2019 but I didn\u2019t realise she was crying while talking on the phone.”<\/p>\n

The actor said, \u201cShe looked at me and said, \u2018Get lost!\u2019 and walked away. My heart broke so badly. But it\u2019s not like I became any less of a fan. Even today, if I saw her somewhere, I\u2019d be like, \u2018Please, one photo!\u2019”<\/p>\n

Ranbir Kapoor recalled another anecdote involving Natalie Portman and said, \u201cWe were shooting, and he (Tarantino) was somewhere nearby giving an interview. I found out he was around for a film promotion, so I ran to see him. I really wanted a picture. He\u2019s made incredible films like Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction. He came out and was getting into a car.”<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cFrom a distance, I started yelling, \u2018Tarantino! Tarantino!\u2019 He looked at me and said, \u2018Yeah, yeah,\u2019 and sat in the car. When he was inside, I peeped in and kept saying \u2018One photo, one photo,\u2019 but he didn\u2019t even look at me.” Ranbir said this happens to him more often than one might think.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently working on one of his biggest and most-awaited projects,\u00a0Ramayana. It is no secret that the actor will be essaying the role of Lord Ram in the Nitesh Tiwari directorial.\u00a0Sai Pallavi will be seen essaying the role of Sita. KGF star Yash will now be seen as Ravana in this movie.<\/p>\n

Sunny Deol and Ravie Dubey will play the roles of Hanuman and Laxman, respectively. On the other hand, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen as Mandodri and Surpanakha. Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor, Adinath Kothare, Sheeba Chaddha and Indira Krishnan are also a part of this project.<\/p>\n
