Ashneer Grover is no stranger to being in the spotlight, whether for his blunt statements or his TV presence. With his new reality show drawing attention, questions naturally arose about whether he fears being slotted against Bigg Boss 19, especially given his history with Salman Khan.<\/p>\n

Dismissing any concerns, Grover told the Indian Express, \u201cNahi yaar, fear kya hai? We\u2019ve launched a new product in the market. It\u2019s a free market. If you launch a new soap in the market and ask not to be compared to other soaps out there, that\u2019s strictly your perception. If people are going to use it for a certain purpose, they\u2019re going to slot you into a certain box. If this follows the reality show format, people are going to club it with other reality shows like Bigg Boss, which has been around for 19 years. So yeah, let there be comparisons. It\u2019s not like my show is going to shut down because of that.”<\/p>\n

Grover made it clear that competition is natural in a free market and he welcomes comparisons instead of shying away from them.<\/p>\n

Subtle Dig At Salman Khan\u2019s Hosting Style<\/strong><\/p>\n

When asked if he picked up anything from Salman Khan\u2019s hosting style, Ashneer made a remark that raised eyebrows. \u201cOne thing I\u2019ve clearly picked up is that you\u2019ve to watch the episodes yourself. You can\u2019t be a part of the show and only go by what\u2019s told to you about what happened on the show. Only if you watch the show will the genuine remarks and comments come out.”<\/p>\n

Many interpreted this as a sly hint that Salman may not always watch every episode of Bigg Boss himself, instead relying on summaries. While Grover didn\u2019t name him directly, the timing of the comment sparked speculation about whether it was a deliberate dig.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Ashneer has spoken candidly about Salman Khan. In a past interview, he recalled an uncomfortable experience during a sponsored ad shoot where Salman\u2019s team allegedly refused a photo opportunity. Grover recounted, \u201cMaine bola, nahi khichwaunga photo, bhaad main ja tu. Matlab aisi kaunsi heropanti ho gayi.”<\/p>\n

Later, when Ashneer appeared on Bigg Boss 18 as a guest, Salman didn\u2019t hold back. The superstar called him out for making misleading statements about their past interactions and reminded him to be cautious with his words.
