Speaking to Mashable India<\/em>, she recalled how, during a tour, she and teammate Smriti Mandhana spent hours in discussion with Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, which eventually led to them being asked to leave a cafe in New Zealand.<\/p>\n

Rodrigues explained that she and Mandhana were seeking Kohli\u2019s advice on batting. The interaction began with cricket talk but soon turned into a casual chat when the couple invited them to a cafe at the hotel where both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams were staying. She recounted, \u201cHe actually told Smriti and me that you both have the power to change women\u2019s cricket, and I can see that happening.”<\/p>\n

Their conversation stretched for nearly four hours. At that point, the cafe staff approached them and politely asked them to vacate the table, as they had been occupying the seats for too long without continuing to order.<\/p>\n
