Actor Karishma Sharma was admitted to a hospital on Wednesday, September 10, after sustaining injuries when she jumped off a moving local train in Mumbai. A day later, she took to Instagram to share details about the incident. She also shared her health update and what unfolded during the mishap.<\/p>\n

Karishma Sharma took to her Instagram stories and wrote a long note, detailing the accident. She wrote, \u201cYesterday, while heading for a shoot at Churchgate, I decided to take the train dressed in a sari. As I boarded, the train started picking up speed, and I noticed my friends couldn\u2019t catch it. Out of fear, I jumped off- and unfortunately fell on my back, hitting my head.”<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI\u2019ve injured my back, my head is swollen, and I\u2019m covered in bruises. The doctors advised did a MRI and have kept me under observation for a day to ensure the head injury isn\u2019t severe. I\u2019ve been in pain since yesterday, but I\u2019m staying strong. Please keep me in your prayers for a speedy recovery and send me your love \u2013 it means a lot.” Take a look:<\/p>\n

One of Karishma\u2019s friends also shared a picture of her from the hospital, writing, \u201cCan\u2019t believe this happened.. my friend fell from the train, and she doesn\u2019t remember anything. We found her on the floor and rushed her here. Doctors are still figuring things out-please keep her in your prayers. Get well soon babe.”<\/p>\n
