Kuldeep Yadav showcased no signs of rustiness as he swiftly dismantled the UAE batting line-up, helping India dismiss the home team for a mere 57 runs in 13.1 overs during their Asia Cup opener on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Abhishek Sharma smashed a 16-ball 30 as Shubman Gill hit an unbeaten 9-ball 20 and Suryakumar Yadav scored seven from two balls not out. India chased down the target in just 4.3 overs for a 9-wicket win.<\/p>\n

How India Beat UAE In Asia Cup?<\/h2>\n

Despite a frustrating stint in the UK, where he warmed the bench for five consecutive Tests, Kuldeep proved too skillful for the UAE batters, finishing with impressive figures of 4 for 7 in 2.1 overs.<\/p>\n

Jasprit Bumrah (1\/19 in 3 overs) initiated the collapse with a perfect yorker, dismissing Kerala-born Alishan Sharafu (22 off 17 balls), who had previously shown resilience with three boundaries and a six.<\/p>\n

Once Bumrah delivered the perfect yorker to Sharafu\u2019s boots, UAE\u2019s promising start quickly turned into a disastrous one, with batters making a rapid return to the dug-out.<\/p>\n

The trio of spinners \u2014 Kuldeep, Varun Chakravarthy (1\/4 in 2 overs), and Axar Patel (1\/13 in 3 overs) \u2014 posed a challenge for the UAE players, who are not accustomed to facing such bowlers. Shivam Dube (3\/4 in 2 overs), whose bowling will be crucial for India heading into the T20 World Cup, achieved career-best figures, efficiently wrapping up the tail.<\/p>\n

Rahul Chopra attempted to hit his way out of trouble against Kuldeep but was caught at long-on, while left-handed Harshit Kaushik struggled to tackle his googly.<\/p>\n

Skipper Muhammad Waseem (19 off 22 balls) found it difficult to score and when he tried to sweep Kuldeep, the ball bounced a bit extra.<\/p>\n

Overall, the Indian bowlers delivered 81 balls \u2014 13.1 overs plus two wides \u2014 and the UAE batters failed to score off 52 deliveries.<\/p>\n

The bowling strategies laid out by Gautam Gambhir and captain Suryakumar Yadav were executed perfectly, with the Dubai pitch aiding the spinners. This trio is expected to pose significant trouble to other teams as well.<\/p>\n
