Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur parted ways in 2016 after a tumultuous 13-year-long marriage.<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Ever since businessman Sunjay Kapur\u2019s death, his family has been fighting over his will and assets. Kapur married thrice, with the Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor being his second wife, with whom he shared two children, Samaira and Kiaan. While the two kids have now moved to the Delhi High Court, demanding their share in Kapur\u2019s wealth, do you know that they were already gifted bonds totalling \u20b914 crore which ensured an income of \u20b910 lakh a month from their father.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, ANI reported that during the divorce, Sunjay bought bonds worth Rs 14 crore for both his children with an interest payment of Rs 10 lakh. He also gave ownership of a house, which was owned by his father, to Karisma.<\/p>\n

Karisma Kapoor\u2019s Children Move Delhi High Court<\/h4>\n

Earlier today, it was reported that Karisma Kapoor\u2019s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have moved the Delhi High Court to demand a share in the assets of their late father, Sunjay Kapur. In their petition, the two children claimed that their stepmother, Priya Sachdev, forged Sunjay\u2019s will. They submitted that the purported will allegedly executed by their father is not a legal and valid document, is forged and fabricated.<\/p>\n

They argued that it is because of this reason that neither the original of the Alleged Purported Will has been shown to them nor a copy of the Alleged Purported Will has been provided. The children, therefore, requested the court to provide them with a copy of the said document.<\/p>\n

Besides this, Karisma Kapoor\u2019s children also requested the court to restrain Priya Sachdev from executing the will till the time the issue is resolved.<\/p>\n

Fight Over Sunjay Kapur\u2019s Wealth<\/h4>\n

Following Sunjay Kapur\u2019s death in London on June 12, 2025, new developments have emerged regarding a Rs 30,000 crore inheritance dispute. A few days ago, a Dainik Jagran report suggested that Karisma may be exploring legal options to claim a share of her former husband\u2019s estate.<\/p>\n

Adding another twist to the ongoing estate conversation, Safira, the daughter of Sunjay\u2019s third wife, Priya Sachdev, has reportedly dropped her surname \u2018Chatwal\u2019 and adopted \u2018Kapur\u2019. Industry observers believe the change may not be merely symbolic but a strategic move, potentially aimed at strengthening her stake in the inheritance.<\/p>\n
