According to Variety, the film follows two childhood friends from a small North Indian village who aspire to a police career, seeking dignity and respect. Yet, as they move closer to their goal, mounting desperation strains the bond that has kept them together for years.<\/p>\n

Director Neeraj Ghaywan described the film as \u201ca deeply personal story about friendship, dignity, and survival. It\u2019s about people who are often unseen, and the quiet strength they carry in a world that rarely pauses for them.” Legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese serves as an executive producer on the film, lending international credibility to the project.<\/p>\n
