Police found anti-ageing medicine, skin glow and vitamin tablets at Jariwala’s home after her death. Initial reports had suggested cardiac arrest to be the reason behind her death.<\/h2>\n

Following the death of actor-model Shefali Jariwala on June 27, the Mumbai Police carried out a search at her apartment in Andheri and found anti-ageing medicine, skin glow tablets, and vitamin supplements.<\/p>\n

As part of probe, authorities are investigating the factors that may have contributed to the 42-year-old actor\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

According to Hindustan Times, police had found two boxes of these beauty and self-care supplements while documenting the investigation at her residence.<\/p>\n

However, Shefali\u2019s family stated that she was not taking the tablets under a doctor\u2019s supervision, but they did not adversely affect her health.<\/p>\n

Shefali Jariwala\u2019s Untimely Demise<\/h4>\n

According to Mumbai police sources, Shefali had fainted due to low blood pressure after which she was taken to hospital by her parents, husband and house help.<\/p>\n

Police sources have confirmed that she was self-medicating herself for last several years. Officials found two boxes of medicines at her house during the search. It has come to light that the actor had consumed stale food before consuming anti-aging medicines. Thereafter, her health deteriorated.<\/p>\n

Jariwala passed away on Friday at her apartment. The \u2018Kaanta Laga\u2019 fame actor was taken to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai but hospital staff confirmed she was dead on arrival.<\/p>\n

Initial reports suggested cardiac arrest as the cause of her death, but Mumbai Police later stated the cause was uncertain.<\/p>\n

What Doctors Say Now About Her Death?<\/h4>\n

The doctors at RN Cooper Hospital, where her post-mortem examination was conducted, now suspect a sudden drop in blood pressure might have resulted in her untimely demise.<\/p>\n

The doctors also suspect that Shefali may have experienced cardiac arrest due to self-medication. The post-mortem report is not out yet. Doctors are waiting for viscera and blood reports.<\/p>\n

What Parag Told Police?<\/h4>\n

The HT, citing Parag, reported Shefali had been fasting for a Satyanarayan Pooja at their home. He told the police she had even collapsed the day before after eating.<\/p>\n

Following Shefali\u2019s death, statement of her husband Parag Tyagi was also recorded. In his statement, Parag said the relationship between him and Shefali was good and both of them respected each other.<\/p>\n

Parag said it was difficult for him to come to terms with her death. He claimed Shefali was physically fit, adding that the 42-year-old used to self-medicate herself.<\/p>\n

Parag also told police that in the month of May, both of them went to Australia for a stage show.<\/p>\n

While the exact reason behind Shefali\u2019s death will be determined after the post-mortem report is released, the Mumbai Police ruled out foul play.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, an Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been filed. Shefali was cremated at Oshiwara Crematorium on Saturday evening, a day after her death.<\/p>\n

Shefali Jariwala rose to fame in 2002 with her appearance in the song \u2018Kaanta Laga\u2019 at the age of 20. Later, she went on participating in various projects, including reality shows like Bigg Boss and Nach Baliye, where she competed alongside her husband Parag.<\/p>\n
