Stocks To Watch On September 5: <\/strong>Markets closed marginally higher after a volatile session, with gains supported by GST reforms signaling a structural tax overhaul. In today\u2019s trade, shares of Zydus Life, NTPC, HDFC Life, Varun Beverages, and TVS Motor will be in focus on key news updates.<\/p>\n

RVNL<\/strong>: Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Texmaco Rail, which recently signed a joint venture agreement to build India\u2019s next-gen railway ecosystem, will incorporate a new company by November.<\/p>\n

HDFC Life<\/strong>: The insurer said it expects less than 0.5% impact on embedded value from the GST change.<\/p>\n

TVS Motor<\/strong>: TVS Motor launched the NTORQ 150, calling it India\u2019s first hyper sport scooter designed for Gen Z riders.<\/p>\n

JB Chemicals & Pharma<\/strong>: Torrent Pharma announced an open offer to acquire up to 4.17 crore equity shares of JB Chemicals, representing 26% of its expanded share capital, at Rs 1,639.18 per share, aggregating Rs 6,842.80 crore in cash.<\/p>\n

Poly Medicure<\/strong>: Its step-down subsidiary signed a Share Purchase Agreement with Wellinq Holdings B.V., Amsterdam, to acquire stakes in Pendracare Holdings B.V. and Wellinq Medical B.V. Post-deal, Poly Medicure will hold 90% economic rights in PendraCare Group.<\/p>\n

Biocon<\/strong>: The USFDA inspected Biocon Biologics\u2019 Bengaluru drug substance facility between Aug 26\u2013Sep 3, 2025, issuing Form 483 with five procedural observations. Biocon said it will submit a corrective and preventive action plan promptly.<\/p>\n

Container Corp<\/strong>: Signed an MoU with Bhavnagar Port Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. to operate and maintain the upcoming container terminal at Bhavnagar Port, Gujarat. BPIPL earlier secured 235 hectares on a 30-year lease from the Gujarat Maritime Board.<\/p>\n

NTPC<\/strong>: Permanently discontinued operations of Tanda Thermal Power Station Stage-I, comprising four 110 Mw units, effective Sep 1, 2025. With this closure, NTPC\u2019s installed and commercial capacity now stands at 82,926 Mw.<\/p>\n

RSWM<\/strong>: Signed a power supply and management agreement with Powerpulse Trading Solutions Ltd., a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, to procure renewable energy under the Group Captive Scheme.<\/p>\n

Zydus Lifesciences<\/strong>: Through its subsidiary Zydus Lifesciences Global FZE, the company signed an exclusive licensing and supply agreement with Synthon BV, Netherlands, for Ozanimod Capsules in the U.S.<\/p>\n

RPP Infra Projects<\/strong>: Received a Letter of Acceptance for an EPC order worth Rs 134.21 crore for the improvement of the Matheran-Neral-Kalamb road in Raigad district, Maharashtra.<\/p>\n

Indo-Tech Transformers<\/strong>: Secured a purchase order to manufacture and supply nine 125 MVA transformers worth Rs 78.39 crore, plus taxes.<\/p>\n

Varun Beverages<\/strong>: Incorporated a joint venture, White Peak Refrigeration Pvt. Ltd., to manufacture visi-coolers and refrigeration equipment.<\/p>\n

Bharat Forge<\/strong>: Subsidiary Agneyastra Energetics acquired 949.65 acres in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, for a defence energetics complex. The facility will manufacture explosives, ammunition, and gun propellants, with future plans to expand into rockets, missiles, and space systems.<\/p>\n
