On Rishi Kapoor\u2019s birth anniversary, Neetu Kapoor<\/a> honoured him in the most heartfelt way. The actress, who frequently shares cherished memories of the legendary actor, posted a sweet video tribute on the special day. Accompanying the clip, she wrote, \u201cYou will always remain in our hearts. Happy birthday,” leaving fans deeply moved.<\/p>\n

The clip shared by Neetu Kapoor was from Rishi Kapoor\u2019s popular stage show Khullam Khulla \u2013 Live with Rishi Kapoor, based on his autobiography of the same name. In the video, the actor is seen performing a stage enactment of excerpts from his book, winning the audience over with his storytelling and charm. The show highlighted anecdotes from both his personal life and professional journey, making it memorable for fans even today.<\/p>\n

Adding to the delight, several celebrities also appeared as audience members on the show, as seen in the clip. Later, they also showered praise on Rishi Kapoor\u2019s performance. His brother Randhir Kapoor, too, joined him for the event as he said, \u201cThe show that he did today was simply superb. It was funny, it was witty.”<\/p>\n

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai admired Rishi\u2019s honesty, commenting, \u201cHe really talked khullam khulla, I would say.” Ranbir Kapoor, who also appeared in the clip alongside his father holding his autobiography, also had something sweet to say about his father. \u201cYou know, a man who\u2019s been in the industry for 40 years now and all the anecdotes and all his experiences and to share it with such a large audience, I think it\u2019s a wonderful idea,” he said.<\/p>\n

Remembering Rishi Kapoor<\/strong><\/p>\n

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away in 2020 during the first lockdown. The actor was battling with leukaemia and eventually succumbed to the disease. His death left his family, including his wife Neetu Kapoor and kids Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, totally heartbroken. In one of the interviews, Riddhima had admitted that the tragic incident brought her family closer as they all began looking after each other a little bit more.<\/p>\n
