Avneet Kaur surprised everyone earlier this year when she met Tom Cruise twice \u2013 first on the sets of Mission Impossible 8 and then on the film\u2019s screening in London. While the pictures of the actress with the Hollywood star had gone viral on social media, Avneet<\/a> has now said that it was a one-of-a-kind experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cI met him twice, and I can\u2019t explain in words what the experience was,” Avneet told IANS and then added, \u201cDuring the first time, he already knew about my Cannes appearance; it was surprising to me. The second time around we couldn\u2019t speak much. But I can\u2019t express in words what meeting him meant to me. It\u2019s completely a once-in-a-lifetime event, and I still can\u2019t believe that I got to meet Tom Cruise.”<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Avneet Kaur took to her Instagram account and shared pictures with global star Tom Cruise from the set of Mission: Impossible 8. In the photos, the two were seen twinning in black as they posed for the cameras. In one of the pictures that Avneet shared, she and Tom were seen standing with folded hands.\u00a0In the caption of her post, Avneet Kaur wrote, \u201cNamaste mere aur Mr Cruise ki taraf se poore India ko \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf3\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffb\u2764\ufe0f Great to see you again @tomcruise \ud83d\ude0d @missionimpossible.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Avneet Kaur will soon be seen in Love In Vietnam. Helmed by Rahat Shah Kazmi, it also features Shanatanu Maheshwari in the lead role.<\/p>\n

Backed by Omung Kumar, the film is based on the 1943 Turkish novel Madonna in a Fur Coat by Sabahattin Ali. It follows Shantanu and Avneet\u2019s childhood love story that takes a turn when Maheshwari\u2019s character travels to Vietnam, meets a new woman, played by Kha Ngan, and faces the pain of betrayal and separation. The film explores a passionate, cross-cultural romance unfolding between Punjab and Vietnam, highlighting themes of love, heartbreak, and the journey of two souls across distances.<\/p>\n

Love In Vietnam is set to hit the big screens on September 12.<\/p>\n
