According to the head researcher of The Gottman Institute in the United States, husbands who obey their wives are more likely to form successful marriages and become the most successful individuals in their respective work fields.<\/p>\n

After spending years studying the traits of happy and unbroken marriages, Dr John Gottman revealed a truth that should come in really handy for newlywed men: keep your wife happy! In his latest research, Gottman suggested that men should listen to their wives and let them play an active role and a helpful guiding light in their professional careers.<\/p>\n

Study Advises Men Must Listen To Their Wives For Successful Marriages<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gottman advises that men must be okay with their wives influencing their lives positively and shouldn\u2019t resist the changes that bring to the traditional equation. \u201cIt\u2019s most likely that men who resist their wives\u2019 influence do so without realising it. It happens, and that\u2019s okay, but it\u2019s time to learn how to accept influence. It is both a mindset and a skill cultivated by paying attention to your partner every day and supporting them,” suggested the doctor and relationship expert in a blog.<\/p>\n

The doctor also highlighted that an emotionally mature husband is more likely to accept his wife\u2019s influence and also be \u201ca more supportive and empathetic father because he is not afraid of expressing and identifying emotions.”<\/p>\n
