The 19th season of Bigg Boss premiered on August 24, 2025, and the drama has already begun. Among the most talked-about contestants are influencer couple Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar, fondly known by fans as \u201cNawez.” While speculations about their relationship have been circulating for years, Awez\u2019s father, veteran music composer Ismail Darbar, has now confirmed that the two were all set to tie the knot this December before putting everything on hold for the reality show.<\/p>\n

Ismail Darbar On Awez And Nagma\u2019s Postponed Wedding<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking to Viral Television, Ismail Darbar revealed, \u201cBoth the families had accepted them, and they were supposed to get married this December. We had fixed the date for 26th December. Awez told me to at least speak to Nagma\u2019s family for her hand in marriage. I personally went to Nagma\u2019s house and finalised the wedding date. Her mother even served us delicious food, and we talked until midnight about the wedding plans and venue. Everything was set, but they made a big sacrifice for Bigg Boss 19 by putting their wedding on hold. Now I just pray they don\u2019t come back fighting from the show.”<\/p>\n

Awez And Nagma Open Up Inside Bigg Boss 19<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inside the house, Awez himself addressed their personal lives during a live session. He admitted that marriage discussions were already underway with their families and hinted at the possibility that they might have already been married if not for the reality show. Before he could share more, Bigg Boss intervened and cut the conversation short.<\/p>\n

Even during casual conversations in the kitchen, fellow contestant Kunickaa Sadanand quizzed Awez and Nagma about their future plans.
